Only one person needs to buy the game for up to six people ages 13 and up to play at a time. The zine is written with the assumption of prior familiarity with basic TTRPG dice notation, such as ‘roll 2d6’. You Are A Rock has deep mechanical systems, yet is also obviously a giant meme, so if for some godforsaken reason you decide to subject someone to the game as their first ever TTRPG, I won’t help you.
